From the time I was a youngster, I have always loved watching the news. I grew into a voracious reader, avid learner and a strong leader among peers. These childhood attributes ultimately led me to begin a professional endeavor as a journalist. In just three short, fast years I have gained tremendous experience as a reporter, anchor, weather forecaster and digital media journalist. Every day I have the great privilege to tell stories on the beautiful Central Coast of California. What's your story?
I've worn every hat during my tenure at KSBY News and those varied experiences have made me a better, more well-rounded journalist. I am an MMJ, meaning I shoot and edit my own video in addition to writing my stories. I am an experienced anchor, reporter and weather forecaster.
California's Central Coast is bustling with breaking news stories. Wildfires to floods, oil spills to elections, I have vast knowledge and experience reporting live at breaking news stories. I am also a seasoned anchor in breaking news coverage.
Journalism has made me a bit of a skeptic. That, paired with a deeply ingrained passion for justice makes me a tenacious investigative journalist. I've grilled top oil pipeline safety officers, haphazard veterinarians and digital security experts about major issues facing Central Coast residents.
Over the last year, I have had the privilege sharing stories about the best people and places on the Central Coast for our lifestyle segment "Central Coast Living." I've profiled the tiny town of Harmony with population 18, featured a 5-year-old girl determined to beat cancer and discovered new ways to explore our wine country. The stories are endless and I can't wait to tell more of them!
